Program name: Bachelor of Tourism and Hotels - Major in Airlines Business

The Program General Objectives:

This program aims to prepare a graduate who is able to:

  1. Serve the community and continuous learning through raising awareness.
  2. Use scientific methods in problem-solving, crises management, and emergency situations to keep up with developments in the tourism field.
  3. Keep up with the updates in the work environment of the tourism field.
  4. Identify and distinguish the basic knowledge and theories of the tourism and hospitality industry.
  5. Acquire professional and behavioral ethics in the tourism field.
  6. Comprehend different cultures, deal with various behavioral patterns, and define principles and characteristics of customer service.
  7. Become aware of the laws and regulations related to the tourism sector, determining the regulations of the rights and duties of workers in the field.
  8. Determine public and occupational health principles, first aid, and security and safety rules that serve work in the tourism sector.
  9. Become Familiar with the appropriate means to solve problems and crises arising at work and how to deal with emergencies in the tourism sector.
  10. Acquire self-learning skills, continuous education, time management, and teamwork.
  11. Acquire administrative and technical skills related to the field of tourism.
  12. Comprehend and practice effective presentation and communication skills.
  13. Keep abreast of rapid and successive changes and developments in the tourism work environment.
  14. Carries out reservations, sales, and marketing in airlines.
  15. Prepare and organize internal and external tourism programs for individuals and groups.
  16. Settle the internal and external tourism program prices, and negotiate and set contracts with tourism services suppliers and tourist agents.
  17. Understand and practice methods of marketing and selling tourism programs and services.
  18. Organize conferences and events of tourism organizations.
  19. Realize and practice marketing, advertising, and public relations methods and their application.

 

20.  Know how to plan and book accommodation, tourist transport facilities, and entertainment services.
